Process Paper

Why we chose this topic:

We had History Fair Day coming up in a few months and we decided to choose a topic from the packet that was given to us. We skimmed through and crossed out and put checks one the few topics that seemed appealing to us, and we stopped at Anesthesia and thought about it since no one else in our class was doing it and that it seemed well interesting. So, we decided that we would Anesthesia.

How we conducted our research:

We first started with questions that would help us get started on our project. We looked up our information for the questions that we had and answered them. Later we added more questions to the list and we answered those. We gathered the other information to finish part of our bibliography. We had also interview a dentist, to ask about what he does now with the use of anesthesia. We would take short trips to the library with the class and go the computer to add and edit our website and read some paragraphs from the encyclopedia and we also checked out a book. We shortly finished our bibliography and gathered all the information and typed onto the website. We then, added the finishing touches and wrote our process paper.

How we created and developed your website:

We first started by adding a few pieces of information on the website. We later added -FAQ, and Interview with Dentist. By then we had half of it done so we did some more research and finished- History. Next we gathered everyone’s bibliography and posted it on the website. We also started adding pictures and finished our process paper. As a result we completed our project.

How our project relates to the theme:

It is one this most major innovations because what would we do now in surgeries because we know that every uses anesthesia in an operation. But, it is has caused a great impact like we said before- what would we do now, because we use anesthesia in operations. But also imagine, what effect it might been if you had been living in the 19th century to now know that there was a anesthetic that would cause no pain in surgeries. So our project relate to the theme.
