Austin R. Church, D.D.S

“What type of Anesthesia do you use in your practice?”

“I use nitrous oxide, oral medications, IV, general anesthesia, and local anesthesia.”

“What kind of side effects or reactions have your patients had?”

They would vomit and get dizzy I have had some people pass out because of the needle……”

Do you pass out the Anesthesia or does an Anesthesiologist?

“Both it depends, for the IV and general an Anesthesiologist would do it. For the Local, Nitrous Oxide, and Oral I would administer it.”

“When, do you give your patient Anesthesia?”

“In procedure when they would feel pain and when I would do a lot of work on a young child.”

“Who do you believe invented Anesthesia?”

“I believe that Horace Wells introduced the use of nitrous oxide as a anesthetic and William Morton introduced ether.”
